About the Journal
The Journal of Governance, Economics, and International Affairs (JGEIA) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to advancing scholarly dialogue at the intersection of public administration, economics, political science, sociology, and international relations. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide, and is committed to publishing high-quality, original scholarship that addresses both theoretical and applied dimensions of governance and public affairs.

Mission and Scope
The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications, policy analyses, and book reviews within — but not limited to — the following subject areas:
- Public Administration and Public Policy — public sector reform and modernization, governance and accountability, civil service management, public policy design and evaluation, e-government and digital governance, local and regional administration, administrative law and regulatory policy, public service delivery, decentralization and intergovernmental relations, anti-corruption policies and institutional integrity.
- International Relations, Political Science, and Sociology — comparative politics, political theory, foreign policy analysis, international security, diplomacy, regional integration, political institutions and behavior, social stratification, civil society, migration studies, and sociological dimensions of governance and public life.
- Economics and Finance — macroeconomics and development economics, public finance, monetary and fiscal policy, international economics and trade, financial markets and institutions, applied econometrics.
Submissions that engage in interdisciplinary work spanning two or more of these fields — for example, the political economy of institutional reform, or the governance dimensions of financial regulation — are especially encouraged.
Open Access Policy
JGEIA is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or registration barriers, in accordance with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
Copyright Policy
Authors retain copyright of their work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
Peer Review
The journal employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and integrity. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
Archiving
JGEIA content is preserved through participation in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archiving systems, ensuring long-term access and digital preservation of all published materials.

The names and email addresses submitted to this journal will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
JGEIA is published quarterly, with issues released in September, December, March, and June.
